HomeOpenly Reaches 147 Million US Properties with Aggregate Real Estate Savings

Menlo Park, California, 2018-Apr-10 — /EPR INTERNET NEWS/ — HomeOpenly continues to leverage the latest Internet technology in its effort to make real estate process less costly and more transparent. With its latest release HomeOpenly aggregate savings database now outperforms aggregate savings offered by the Redfin Corporation, a well-known online savings broker. HomeOpenly now advertises savings for more than 147 Million residential properties across the United States.

HomeOpenly works to transform real estate process with an OPEN Marketplace as the first platform of its kind to advertise closing costs savings to consumers without referral fees. The final output for its service are widely-accepted, current and fluid real estate closing commission rates and services defined by local competitive markets. HomeOpenly is estimated to help save US residential real estate consumers anywhere $10-15 Billion each year in closing costs by allowing competitive local real estate agents an opportunity to fairly represent a much greater number of real estate consumers nationwide.

The start-up operates an algorithm that is free from the influence of any referral fees revenue – all local results provided to users always match their best options. With its platform now successfully running on a national scale, HomeOpenly becomes a cost-saving alternative to referral fee brokers, such as Redfin. HomeOpenly actively advertises actionable and current savings in all 50 States.

“Redfin Corporation is heavily dependent on referral fees for revenue; the same independent agents who wage 30% of their commissions back to Redfin can freely advertise at HomeOpenly,” said co-founder Dmitry Shkipin, “we run our platform as an open system built on fair advertising methods to challenge all major referral fees models with genuine Internet principles and innovation.”

HomeOpenly allows real estate agents to comfortably participate in an OPEN Marketplace and to advertise competitive commission rates, service levels for a specific transaction price range, flat fees, quickly opt-in, or modify service advertisements at any time. Home buyers and sellers send their own leads requests to agents they like and HomeOpenly forwards these leads directly without any middle-man fees involved. These features, together, make up for the best and the most effective platform for home buyers and sellers to find and connect with competitive local agents for their real estate transactions.

“Co-founded a year ago working in a team effort with key help from early adopters, friends and fellow Internet companies, HomeOpenly now delivers the best aggregate advertised savings in the US, far outperforming savings offered by Redfin, without any referral fees to anyone,” continued Dmitry Shkipin, “this information directly benefits our users and encourages independent local real estate agents to list their best rates. The best part of our platform is that it only takes few minutes for home buyers and sellers to acquire local agent results without any strings attached – the user experience is 100% unbiased and secure.”

HomeOpenly is the first online platform rapidly allows real estate agents across the United States to effectively compete locally on 0% referral terms. HomeOpenly is built to advertise savings, however, the platform does not lock anyone into any referral agreements or specific rates, instead, competitive market guides the process. HomeOpenly acquires organic users with local search index results and generates revenue with independent advertising, real estate data analysis and optional premium services.

HomeOpenly is maintained in the heart of Silicon Valley as an Internet platform designed to promote lower cost of homeownership in the United States by generating an unbiased real estate match experience for all users. The service operates on its patent-pending model that allows users to advertise and receive the best local real estate agency savings information absolutely free. HomeOpenly can easily be found online at (https://homeopenly.com).

When Building Out Its Moonshots, This Washington DC Startup Knows When To Look For The Stars

Washington, DC, USA, 2018-Jan-15 — /EPR INTERNET NEWS/ — The year 2017 was known in the world of cryptocurrency-based crowdfunding as the age of the Wild West — infamous for its massive, oft-unwarranted treasure chests being entrusted to companies barely out of the whitepaper stage during their TGEs — Token Generation Events also known as Initial Coin Offerings, or ICOs — offset by regulatory uncertainty, frequent multi-million-dollar scams, and sometimes even wholesale freeze-outs of crypto assets in several countries previously friendly to practice.

The year 2018, on the other hand, is expected to issue in a certain sense of clarity and solidity to the markets, populated with ambitious projects at last aware of their own strengths and weakness, and carried on the shoulders of teams capable of actually bringing their lofty visions to life.

WishKnish (https://wishknish.com), a Washington, DC-based startup providing turnkey, decentralized, gamified marketplaces to businesses, social causes, and communities — along with tailored BaaS (Blockchain As A Service) solutions to enterprise clients — aims to be one of these latter entrants.

By bringing in Mr. Mohammed Ebrahim Al Fardan as the Executive Vice President of the MENA and APJ region, the group has now expanded its core team to broadcast its messaging far beyond existing marketing frontiers.

“It is not often that such a fortuitous meeting of the minds happens so seamlessly over thousands of miles,” says Alisa Gus, CEO of WishKnish, “but when an opportunity presents itself, it is up to an exec worth his — or her — salt to answer. Really, Mr. Al Fardan’s experience and connections, and our shared goals for the region and the role of WishKnish’s Blockchain-as-a-Service arm in making them happen, will undoubtedly make this one of the most strategic hires any company can hope to make, especially as it closes in on its own token generation event.”

A 2014 Entrepreneur of the Gulf region recipient, Mr. Al Fardan is the mastermind behind the concept, technical study and master plan for the MENA ICT hub city, a first and only fully integrated smart city in the world as stated by industry experts, and for many years one of the driving forces for the region’s Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Luxury Goods, Investment, Travel & Tourism, and Pharmaceutical industries.

“When you are a VC,” shares Michael Kapoor, the WishKnish’s Chief Operations Officer, and formerly a managing partner of San Francisco’s Propeller Venture Capital, “you’ve got your pick of interesting projects. But occasionally, a project comes along that reminds you of why you started out as an entrepreneur yourself back in the day, and makes you want to get your hands dirty and make this remarkable business take shape. I imagine that’s how Mr. Al Fardan has come to feel, too, and I really can’t be happier to have him on the team.”

Long excited to bring in the vision, power, and security of blockchain technology to the MENA business and government structures, revitilizing and decentralizing its most vital systems, Mr. Al Fardan has this to say about his decision to join the advisory board of WishKnish:

“I am proud and excited to join a team of world experts in Blockchain technologies at WishKnish,” Mr. Al Fardan remarks “I found the idea behind the company so unique and the founders are top class professionals. Such a team with such experiences will no doubt disrupt the industry providing clients globally with great utilization of Blockchain. Having clients talking to us from regions like Middle East & Asia Pacific at this stage makes us more committed and accountable to deliver on their expectations and exceeding them.”

The excitement of new possibilities is felt across all levels of the project’s management team:

“The advent of a truly global economy has come to be possible thanks to blockchain decentralization. We cannot allow ourselves to focus only on the parts of the world familiar to us if we want to make an impact on this exciting space. But doing so without an expert local member of the team is something I would not be prepared to tackle at any stage of the company’s lifecycle,” says Eugene Teplitsky, WishKnish CTO and Alisa’s long-term partner in multiple projects. “That Mr. Al Fardan has agreed to join us while we’re still young is, I think, both a testament to his forward thinking on where the technology is heading in the next decade — as well as to his confidence in WishKnish’s ability to deliver on our now shared vision. We can’t wait to see what 2018 brings to all of us in these next few months!”

Racing Towards Retailization: WishKnish and InstantAccess.io Bring Down Usability Barriers to True Blockchain Adoption

Washington, DC, USA, 2018-Jan-08 — /EPR INTERNET NEWS/ — What does the average retail user think about blockchain technology? A few words that frequently come up are: confusing, abstract, scary, complicated, overwhelming. Not exactly wide adoption territory. But one innovative company hopes to change that.

Any great technological revolution goes through stages, each with its own unique challenges. Blockchain technology is still in its infancy, and yet it’s already rearing to change the world. However, before it can “grow up”, it has to be accepted by the harshest audience of all: the average retail consumer.

So, how does one make the average consumer fully understand blockchain tech? If you ask Alisa Gus, CEO of WishKnish (https://wishknish.com) – you don’t.

“When you get into your car in the morning, do you need to understand the principles of internal combustion in order to get your engine revved up? I don’t think so,” Alisa says. “Neither do you need to understand how SSL encryption works in order to make a secure e-commerce purchase. Any great technology has to fit transparently into your routine so that you use it successfully without thinking. That is what needs to happen to blockchain tech before it can be fully embraced.”

WishKnish, the social, gamified marketplace platform startup based out of the Washington, DC area, has been making great strides in bringing much-needed usability improvements to the often complicated process of obtaining and transacting in cryptocurrencies – virtual tokens encrypted using a secret hash and decentralized across multiple distributed “ledgers”.

Last month WishKnish announced a key partnership with UK biometric security firm BioSSL to replace the convoluted and oft-problematic “private key” used to unlock cryptocurrency wallets, with army-grade biometric security measures and other layers of authentication.

Michael Kapoor, former managing partner at Propeller Venture Capital and newly minted COO of WishKnish is no stranger to untangling the usability struggles commonly encountered in this nascent space. “If you’ve ever lost your private key, your tokens are as good as gone,” Mr. Kapoor says. “This level of risk is simply unacceptable for the average user. This is just one example of the evolutionary challenges we are addressing with the WishKnish platform.”

Now, the ambitious team is staring off 2018 by partnering with InstantAccess.io, a usability startup based out of Berlin, Germany that helps users save time filling out form online by maintaining their own private, secure repository that can be easy tapped into with a single click. Previously stored form fields can be updated across the entire network, making changes easy.

“It’s as simple as logging in via Facebook or Twitter – just click the icon, authenticate, and the necessary data will automatically be sent to the app,” explains Eugene Teplitsky, CTO of WishKnish and Alisa’s partner. “Since our goal is to accommodate a wide range of storefront communities, we anticipate a broad need for information that users could potentially exchange with them, from the mundane – like shoe size or dietary preference – to more complex, harder-to-remember details – like blockchain wallet addresses. InstantAccess.io will save users a ton of time, and shave off another layer of usability barriers between blockchain technology and full adoption among retail users.”

“We are super excited about the partnership with WishKnish as we believe blockchain technology is becoming widely adopted by everyday users”, says Rick Chen, director at InstantAccess.io. “Our aim is simple, we want the InstantAccess app to save users time, make their life easier, especially in adopting new and exciting technologies like blockchain.”

The future for retailization of user-facing blockchain marketplaces has never been brighter.

About WishKnish Corp.

Digital transformation: OneLife innovates in the area of RPA (Robotic Process Automation); number of Bots launched in 2017

LUXEMBOURG, Nov-24-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — In 2016, OneLife embarked on a digital transformation journey making it one of the early movers in an area where man and machine are increasingly interacting to improve customer experience. Since then, a number of initiatives have been delivered as per the roadmap, with still more to follow in the coming months and others in the proof of concept stage due for early 2018.

Launching its Digital Days in June 2017 to fully engage employees in the transformation process, the firm’s Digital Days Breakfast on 30th November is the opportunity to highlight the year’s achievements and set out the initiatives to come. Employees across departments at OneLife are involved in implementing digital innovation to improve the experience of partners and clients and in so doing learn the techniques which will allow them to compete in tomorrow’s world.

Training and development at OneLife has also gone digital with the introduction in September of the Lynda.com learning platform from LinkedIn. This tool, offering over 10,000 e-courses, actively encourages employees to learn on a regular basis across all disciplines with certification awarded to acknowledge completion.

As Marc Stevens, OneLife CEO, says: “At OneLife, Digital is part of our DNA! The intelligent interaction of man and machine means a simpler, faster and easier everyday experience for our partners, clients and employees. Our digital transformation continues – we’ve implemented a large number of value-add initiatives this year and many more are to come next year”.

ONCE UPON A DIGITAL YEAR – WHAT’S BEEN DONE?

Data aggregation

OneLife worked closely with Harvest, the leader in France in data aggregation, to offer their mutual independent financial advisors in France this new service, the advantage of which is to provide an overall view of portfolio positions for each of their clients. This initiative is part of a comprehensive digital approach to which other data aggregation initiatives will be added. OneLife is now able to fully support the Penelop format so allowing them to extend their partnership with other market aggregators over the coming weeks. In addition, OneLife recently put a B2B service in place enabling partners to log on in real time to the platform to view all the information available on their respective portfolio.

The project was delivered in record time thanks to the particularly fruitful collaboration between OneLife and Harvest enabling the new flows to be taken on to further extend the integration of the Luxembourg contracts in O2S. Making the flows available is part of a legal and technical mechanism which guarantees integrity and confidentiality of the personal data (data masking, secure file transfer protocol, cryptographic communication, authentication key, etc.).

Automation of standard processes

Identifying the stages in a well-mapped process which can be done just as well by automated means – and even enhanced in terms of time, accuracy and reporting – is a key area of the firm’s focus. The automation of parts of the OneLife service workspace is just one example. Generating automatic emails to confirm transactions, request missing documentation and manage life policies effectively leaves the company’s Customer Services team with more time on their hands to deal with more complex live customer queries – and so better manage the relationships with their valued partners and clients.

ONCE UPON A DIGITAL YEAR – WHAT’S JUST AROUND THE CORNER?

A number of other digital initiatives are due for release in the coming weeks.

For the 2017 year-end portfolio statements, the firm is putting in place Dematerialisation, a process which allows the policyholder and his intermediary to view statements directly on the firm’s secure portal, youroffice yourassets instead of in paper form by post. The pdf may be downloaded and stored as appropriate for future reference. The dematerialised statement has the same legal value as the paper form. Efficiency, security and speed are all watchwords of this new paperless process.

Accelerating the client on-boarding process through the automation of KYC and AML checks has been through the test-drive stage at OneLife and is about to be launched. RegTech, or Regulation Technology as it is widely known, provides the Compliance team with a powerful technology tool to run the checks and then revert with a recommendation. The team can then intervene to run further checks and/or on-board the clients so significantly speeding up the process from the days when all stages were manual. OneLife partnered with KYCTech, a Luxembourg start-up company, to establish a Proof of Concept for the platform. The service will be implemented in February.

OneLife launched the OneLife OneApp for its partners in Belgium in 2016. It was then made available to the rest of its partner base in August 2017. The next step is to offer it to all OneLife clients from December. The App offers real-time access to portfolios on-line in a secure environment, as well as the ability to track operations and outstanding items. OneLife partners and clients can be sure that their portfolios move with them and are accessible 24/7!

As the final piece in the digitalisation of its on-boarding and service offering, OneLife will introduce an electronic signature capability in the first quarter 2018. The new service will allow partners and clients with access to youroffice, yourassets to sign digitally, eliminating the time-consuming process of physical signatures on switches and top-ups in a first phase and other operations in later stages.

ONCE UPON A DIGITAL YEAR – WHAT’S FOR NEXT YEAR?

OneLife is also innovating in the area of RPA (Robotic Process Automation). A number of Bots have been launched in 2017 and are already serving the business. A larger scale deployment is planned for 2018.

As a digital front-runner, OneLife is using its internal AGILE approach to identify and implement change across the organisation fast. From concept to delivery, the firm’s digital transformation is not just a promise but a reality.

Axiomatics offers fine-grained policy-based access control and dynamic data masking and filtering

CHICAGO, Oct-05-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — Axiomatics, the leader in fine-grained dynamic authorization, today announced that KuppingerCole has profiled its data-centric dynamic authorization suite in a recent analyst report titled, “Executive View – Axiomatics Data Security.” The report sheds light on two flagship products; Axiomatics Data Access Filter for Multiple Databases and Axiomatics SmartGuard™ for Big Data, both of which apply an Attribute Based Access Control mechanism across different types of data stores, and centralizes policy-based authorization rules for access to the content within these data stores.

KuppingerCole’s Executive View describes the solutions in detail and offers advice to IT professionals looking for data-centric security. The Axiomatics Data Access Filter offers policy-based access control and dynamic data masking and filtering for relational databases. Implemented as a database proxy, the product intercepts all connections to the database from any user or application and analyzes every SQL statement for potential violations of applicable security policies. In accordance to the ABAC approach, the authorization service may query multiple attribute sources for additional context information needed for a fine-grained access decision.

SmartGuard™ for Big Data (the most recent addition to Axiomatics’ data security portfolio) extends ABAC-based dynamic authorization to Hadoop Big Data stores. There’s a growing need to ensure consistent fine-grained access control and maintain regulatory compliance for Hadoop. These infrastructures often comprise multiple loosely coupled components, and Big Data stores are used to store massive amounts of data from numerous sources with multiple applications accessing them simultaneously. Armadillo Business Information celebrates 20 years on the Web

Hertfordshire, UK, 2017-Jun-09 — /EPR INTERNET NEWS/ — Armadillo, the world’s first web based company information database, celebrated its 20th anniversary on June 3rd.

In 1995, based near Old Street roundabout in London, Emmanuel Cohen, Armadillo’s chairman started on the road to launch an online company data system.

Having been shown the web in April 95 by a research scientist after Tim Berners-Lee uploaded the web structure in CERN, on a subsequent visit to the bookshop, Barnes and Noble he was shown all the books on this new area.

“Imagine a huge row bookshelves, devoted to a subject that was completely new. I knew then that it was important”

Manny continues “I will always remember a weekend in November 1996 when I had to make a huge decision. I could only afford the development work on one of the access systems at the time, it was a massive gamble. Should I risk everything – my business, my house, the lot – on chasing the dream of my own online database? I decided the web was the future so I gambled everything I had. Nowadays it is hard to imagine what a risk that was. Back then, the web was untried and untested as a commercial tool.”

“It amuses me that Old Street (known as Silicon Roundabout) where we started is today a burgeoning centre for web companies. These days developers are working on a tried and tested platform. It just was not there back in the mid 90s when we launched. It was true disruptive technology.”

“I was told recently that I must be the founding father of the Shoreditch Fintech revolution. Well, I don’t know about that, but my team and I certainly helped develop the bar revolution in the area!”

What Manny and his team pioneered at the time, was a unique commercial web database. Worldwide company reports and documents could be instantly bought by account or credit card from anywhere in the world, delivered to anywhere in the world. Users could also order the registration of companies online. The system was launched at the Barbican Solicitors Exhibition in London in June 1997.

“It was an amazing feeling. Once launched, we went out to our clients to sell the new service. Guess what they all said. “The internet? Too slow, no security, we can never connect – it will never catch on!”

Happy Birthday Armadillo and congratulations on the first and longest running online corporate commercial database on the web. Manny concludes ” Guess what, we haven’t stopped. We’re still innovating and are working on lots of new projects, so watch this space!”

Domain registry GlobalR.com: Georgia’s .GE ccTLD represents an unrivaled opportunity for German business owners

GERMANY, 09-Aug-2016 — /EPR INTERNET NEWS/ — The success of thousands of German businesses is in jeopardy, hindered by the oversubscribed domain extension .DE. Soon, there will be no domains left for new businesses to register.

As the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Germany, the .DE domain extension represents a booming online marketplace serving a domestic population of over 82 million. The third most popular top-level domain (after .COM and .TK) the .DE zone has very few short or dictionary word domains left available. In no time at all, those looking to register their business online will have to choose between obscure names, misspellings, or random word combinations to secure a domain in the .DE zone. Their customers will never find them.

This is a serious problem that has the power to halt the growth of the German e-commerce industry, but there is a small group of marketers working tirelessly to address it – and they’ve found a solution.

According to GlobalR.com, a domain registry specializing in .GE domains, the entire English-speaking world knows Deutschland as Germany. To them, .DE is irrelevant and Georgia’s .GE ccTLD is the obvious choice for native German businesses. With barely 30,000 registered domains in the .GE zone, this under-utilized ccTLD represents an unrivaled opportunity for German business owners, giving them their pick of domain names and a ccTLD the majority of consumers automatically associate with Germany.
